Dr. Mark Wu is a Professor of Finance and the Director of MBA Programs at the Mario J. Gabelli School of Business. His research focuses on sovereign debt issuance, treasury auctions, primary dealer behavior, and secondary market trading, with additional expertise in investor sentiment, behavioral finance, and sustainability. His recent work examines sovereign bond auction pricing, institutional incentives, and dealer behavior across global debt markets. He has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Bank of Canada, the Swedish National Debt Office, the Portuguese Treasury and Debt Management Agency, and the Central Bank of Iceland. His work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Review of Financial Economics, Sustainability, and Accounting Education, as well as in chapters of Debt Markets and Investments published by Oxford University Press. His research has been presented at major international finance conferences and policy institutions across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Professor Wu鈥檚 teaching philosophy blends theory with practice, with notable courses including Fixed-Income Securities, Advanced Financial Management, Investments, Financial Markets & Institutions, and Corporate Finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Under his leadership, the MBA program emphasizes experiential learning through hands-on projects, corporate partnerships, client consulting, executive engagement, and international business experiences. In addition to leading the MBA program and collaborating with the university community, Dr. Wu is deeply committed to student advising and research mentoring. He serves as the faculty mentor for the CFA Institute Global Research Challenge and has led student trips to Athens, Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, and Shanghai.

Dr. Wu holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton. His contributions extend beyond academia through advisory roles, litigation consulting, and media engagement. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

In his spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys traveling, reading Chinese history, and following soccer. He closely supports the 麻豆色情片 soccer team and is an avid fan of Ajax Amsterdam.
