Office of the Bursar
What We Do at the Office of the Bursar
The Office of the Bursar is here to support students and families with a variety of financial services. Our responsibilities include—but are not limited to—the following:
Posting charges and credits to student accounts
Issuing billing statements through the Student Account Center (SAC)
Helping students explore payment options and create payment plans
Processing tuition and fee payments
Managing and collecting payments on past-due accounts
Handling university deposits
Issuing refunds for overpaid accounts
We operate within a framework of policies and procedures that may be set at the federal, state, institutional, or departmental level. Our goal is to ensure these guidelines are followed consistently and appropriately in all situations.
Above all, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, supportive, and proactive environment for students, families, and colleagues.
